OIL Engineering fabricates subsea pipework to BS4515 in carbon steel, Duplex and Super Duplex. Additionally we fabricate associated caissons and towhead equipment.

OIL Engineering has a "stand alone" pipe shop located within Altens facility for the fabrication of exotic metals.

As with subsea structures, we are experienced in fast track projects to meet the demands of subsea development project schedules and supply vessel logistics.

Our customer base typically includes all the major subsea IRM and construction companies.

Above right: 2 off Towheads, Rockwater, BHP, Keith Field Development. The small bore stainless steel instrumentation and control pipework was also fitted by OIL Engineering.

Middle right: Subsea Tie-in spools, Stolt Offshore, Maersk Halfdan.  Fabricated to BS4515, these spools were completed at our quayside facility prior to load out from Clipper Quay.

Bottom right: 60m long Prestressed Oil and Water Risers and Caisson, Stolt Offshore, Maersk Halfdan. The risers were pre-stressed to 250 Te prior to welding of the final bulkhead. Load out was from Clipper Quay.
